I work in real estate finance, currently at TruAmerica Multifamily analyzing portfolios and supporting investment decisions across a $15B+ platform.
I've worked at Eastdil Secured, TruAmerica, and Calmwater Capital across investment sales, private equity, and commercial debt. My technical foundation includes LBO modeling, portfolio analysis and optimization, investment committee materials, and underwriting across all asset classes. I've worked on portfolios totaling over $20 billion. More important than the dollar figure is what I've learned about how investment decisions actually get made.
I'm interested in capital allocation. Not just running models, but understanding the judgment behind them. How ownership structures shape incentives. How investors think about risk over long time horizons. What separates solid underwriting from exceptional investing.
Long-term, I'm building toward being a principal.
Outside of work, I spend time building tools and projects at the intersection of finance and technology, mostly focused on how AI can support better investment decisions and market analysis.
Supporting portfolio optimization across a $15B+ private equity platform. Analyzing portfolio performance to identify opportunities for improving fund-level IRR and MOIC. Building bespoke models, updating LBOs, structuring waterfalls, and conducting hold/sell/refi analyses. Leading AI integration strategies to automate workflows and improve decision-making efficiency across the investment team.
Completed intensive analyst training program at a leading real estate investment banking firm. Built financial models for institutional transactions across all major property types, including cash flow projections, valuations, and LBO analyses. Collaborated on capstone project delivering pricing guidance and go-to-market strategy. Developed offering memorandums and presentation materials for institutional clients.
